If actual shipping costs are less than you paid at checkout, the difference will be refunded to your original form of payment. We will ship your package in 2-4 business days.

General

We do our best to ensure that our images accurately represent the item/s you will receive. We shoot our ceramics in natural light and carefully edit the images to achieve the best possible representation of the items. However, due to the vast resolution variances from screen to screen, there may be a subtle variance between what you see online and what you see in person. We do not accept returns based on this variation.

The item/s in our listing images may not be the exact item you receive. Special care is taken to ensure our images accurately reflect the product. However, due to the inherent nature of handmade ceramics, some variation in size and finish should be expected.

If you order multiples of the same item, for example a set of mugs, please anticipate that there will be subtle variation in size and glaze finish of each item. Our work is all handmade and each piece will be unique.

Returns and Exchanges

We do not accept refunds or exchanges once an item has been picked up or shipped. If your order was fulfilled incorrectly or arrived broken or defective, please contact us at hello@kelseybullen.com within 3 days of receiving your package. Please include your order number and a photo of the item/s received.

Depending on the item/s, we will either refund your order or coordinate the shipment of a new item. Whether we refund or re-ship is at our discretion.

Caring for your Handmade Ceramics

Dishwashing

Your new ceramics are dishwasher safe, however some consideration is recommended to maintain quality and durability over the long term. We recommend opting for more gentle detergents, avoiding any acidic or harsh soaps. Use of rinse aids is not recommended.

Hand washing will keep your handmade ceramics looking the best over the long term. Longevity is sustainable and care is an investment.

Oven and Microwave

Handmade ceramics are susceptible to thermal shock, which can result in cracking or premature breakage. Avoid placing your ceramics in extreme temperature environments, such as the freezer or a high temperature oven.

Our ceramics are intended for serving - not cooking. Oven and microwave use should be done with caution. Never place your ceramics into a pre-heated oven. Instead, heat them slowly with the oven, and never hotter than 350 degrees F. Avoid prolonged microwave sessions, which may heat the ceramics to a temperature unsafe to handle.

Staining

Staining can occur when food is stored in ceramics for a long period of time. Some glazes are more susceptible to this than others. As a rule of thumb, our ceramics are intended for serving - not storage. If you do find stains on your ceramics, we recommend a product called Bar Keeper's Friend.

Cutlery Marks

Regular use of flatware on ceramic surfaces may result in cutlery marks. Matte glazes are more susceptible to cutlery marking versus glossy glazes. Cutlery marks are typically superficial residue on the surface of ceramics. We recommend hand washing your ceramics with Bar Keeper's Friend to remove these marks.

Using our Vases

It is possible that our pots may leave a water mark on wooden or painted surfaces if left for a long period of time.

Our pots are all polished smooth and scratches, if any, should be minimal.

If your surface is dear, we recommend felt pads to prevent any damage.
